Last week we told you about our rescue of 15 dogs from an overcrowded mobile home in Kendall, Wisconsin. The dogs—including Chihuahuas, Pomeranians and Jack Russell Terriers—were found living amongst feces, trash, and rotting food and suffering from a host of ailments.

The ASPCA, at the request of the Monroe County Humane Investigator and the Monroe County Sherriff’s Office, is assisting with the removal and sheltering of 15 dogs and a parakeet found living in an overcrowded mobile home in rural Kendall, Wisconsin.
As a result of an investigation initiated by Monroe County Humane Investigator Bekah Weitz, a search warrant was executed this morning for the removal of the animals.

Shadyside, Ohio – At the request of Belmont County Animal Rescue League (BCARL), the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) is on the ground assisting with the rescue of more than 90 neglected, mixed breed dogs from a property in Shadyside, Ohio.
NEW YORK CITY AND WASHINGTON – The ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ®) and the Humane Society of the United States delivered a lifeline of pet food to remote Alaska Native villages that have been unable to acquire food for hundreds of dogs.
Morgan County, Ind.— At the request of the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC), the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) is assisting with the removal of nearly 600 animals – including multiple dogs and more than 550 birds – from two properties in Morgan and Owen counties that are connected to alleged animal fighters. The ASPCA is also assisting local authorities with evidence collection, medical assessments, and veterinary forensic exams.
