**The ASPCA® is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of the community, the animals in our care, and our staff. Please note that we have adjusted our services as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis:
Adoption: Thank you for choosing adoption! We appreciate your patience and support throughout the adoption process and hope you find your match. Out of an abundance of caution related to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis across New York City, the ASPCA Adoption Center and Kitten Nursery are temporarily closed to the public. However, we are offering remote adoptions in the New York City area.
Found Kittens: If you found kittens outside and need assistance, please see more information on next steps at aspca.org/FoundKittens.
Pet Food Assistance: To continue supporting pet owners impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, the ASPCA will operate Summer Pet Food Pantries in New York City to provide free emergency dog and cat food, by appointment only. The program will run through September. To best ensure the safety of our staff and community members, we’ll require that everyone follow physical distancing guidelines and wear face coverings during their appointment. Please call (877) 204-8821 for more information and availability.
Veterinary Services: If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please call your nearest veterinary emergency hospital or contact the ASPCA at (844) KEEP-PET (844-533-7738) to discuss assistance options.**
