The ASPCA and OK Humane are also coordinating the distribution of pet food to impacted areas.

Rickey was formerly the Director of the Animal Cruelty Task Force and Disaster Response team for the Humane Society of Missouri (HSMO), where he recently led the largest dog fighting raid in U.S. history, covering eight states and seizing more than 500 dogs in one day.

The animals will be permanently relocated to various shelters in nearby states and allow the Pike County Animal Shelter the capacity to accept displaced animals by the recent flooding.
