Bay Springs, Miss – The ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), under the authority and request of the Jasper County (Miss.) Sheriff’s Department and local animal welfare authorities, has dispatched its field investigations and response team to assist in the removal of nearly 50 dogs and collect evidence in the investigation of a Bay Springs breeder.
The ASPCA is also working with local authorities to establish a temporary shelter for the dogs, which include Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus, cocker spaniels, basset hounds, and other breeds.

NEW YORK--TheASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) today announced a $20,000 grant to Southeast Llama Rescue (SELR) to help transport approximately 300 of 650-plus llamas from Montana Large Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in Niarada, Mont., to foster homes across the country.
