These Adoptable Dogs Are Feeling the Howl-oween Spirit!
Not only is it Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, Halloween is just weeks away and these fur-ighteningly cute dogs are ready to celebrate — so much so that they’ve already got their costumes on! The only problem is, they don’t have homes of their own where they can help hand out candy or go trick-or-treating. Think one of these pups could spend this Halloween (and all their Halloweens after) with you?
Learn more about these boo-tiful dogs below, and who knows, one might just be the Zero to your Jack Skellington!

Also 6 years old, Coney doesn’t let anything slow her down, not even three legs! She’s the perfect companion to have around Howl-oween as she is very brave and the perfect example of resilience. She lives life to the fullest, always ready to greet each day with a wagging tail. Coney absolutely adores leaning in for pets, soaking up attention, yummy treats and playtime. Weaverville, North Carolina:
Holly
Holly is a fun-sized treat — perfect for Halloween! She loves being a silly goofball, rolling around in the grass and playing with her dog pals. She initially came to us as a shy, fearful girl, but she has grown into a curious and affectionate pup. When she’s especially happy, she grins and shows off her teeth in the cutest vampire smile! Columbus, Ohio:
Piper
MOO-ve over! Piper is in town! This 4-year-old is the sweetest hound you’ll ever meet. She loves being silly with her humans, dressing up in costume and showing off her zoomies. After a fun day of play, she’s happy to curl up on the couch and snuggle with her people. Piper is super smart and already knows commands like sit, spin and down. She also loves a treat, so howl-oween is her favorite time of year! Have room in your barn for this cow? Check out Piper’s profile to learn more about her!
