Join Us on “St. Pitties’ Day” and Help Give These Hard-Luck Pups a Second Chance
St. Patrick’s Day is this weekend, and the ASPCA is celebrating with a very special promotion! This year, we invite you to celebrate “St. Pitties’ Day” with us and help us find a wee bit o’ luck for some very special ASPCA Adoption Center residents. In honor of the first-ever St. Pitties’ Day, all adult pit bulls will have their adoption fees reduced to just $17!
“Pit bulls are one of the most common dog breeds adopted from shelters, and can be great family dogs thanks to their loyal, affectionate and loving personalities,” says Julia Umansky, Manager, Client Services, ASPCA Adoption Center. “The ASPCA Adoption Center currently has a number of these dogs available for adoption, and our hope is the St. Pitties’ Day promotion will give them some ‘extra luck’ in finding safe and loving homes.”
Our St. Pitties’ Day promotion will be Saturday, March 17, and Sunday, March 18, 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. at our Adoption Center located at 424 E. 92nd Street (between 1st and York Avenues) in New York City.
Here are a few of the lassies and lads you could meet (and hopefully, fall in love with) this weekend:
All dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and will go home with a free collar and personalized identification tag! Potential adopters must be 21 or older, and should bring one government-issued photo ID (i.e. driver’s license, passport, military ID, or non-driver ID), proof of address and contact information for a personal reference. If you’re interested in adopting, or have any questions please call the ASPCA Adoption Center at (212) 876-7700 ext. 4120.
