Adoptable Dogs
Thank you for your interest in adopting from the ASPCA! The Adoption Center is open for walk-in adoptions of dogs (over 30 pounds) Monday through Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. For small dogs (30 pounds or less), we ask that you apply online and schedule an appointment.
Please note: Any profiles with a “Pawling” icon are located at the ASPCA Recovery & Rehabilitation Center, which is a 90-minute drive outside of the city. All other dogs are located in New York City.
Please look at our adoptable dogs below. If you’re interested in adopting a specific dog, please complete an adoption survey for that dog and read the “Things to Consider Before Adopting” section on our main page.
Thanks again for your interest in the ASPCA! We are excited to help you find your match.
Adopt-A-Boo!
From Saturday, October 17, through Sunday, November 1, you can stop by during our walk-in hours (noon to 5 p.m.) to meet your new boo! While there will be lots of furry friends of all types to meet, adopters of medium to large dogs during this promotion will receive a waived adoption fee (usually a $150 donation), a Subaru tote bag filled with dog items, one week of wet and dry dog food, a free dog leash and an engraved ID tag.
If you would like to attend, please fill out our registration form so we can get to know you!
These dogs are available for adoption via ASPCA Adoption Center at 424 E. 92nd St. in New York City. Don't live in the area? Search for Adoptable Dogs in Your Local Shelter »
