**The health and safety of our employees, clients, partners and the animals in our care is the ASPCA's top priority. Out of an abundance of caution related to the ongoing COVID-19 situation across New York City, the ASPCA Adoption Center is temporarily closed to the public. However, we are excited to offer remote adoptions with assistance from our foster caregivers! If you are interested in adopting a cat from the ASPCA, we welcome you to fill out our Cat Adoption Survey and an ASPCA Matchmaker will be in touch to help you begin the adoption process from home. Thank you for choosing adoption; we hope you find your match!
If a specific available cat listed on our website catches your eye, please make sure to include his or her name on your cat adoption survey. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation limiting services throughout New York City, some animals have not been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. An ASPCA Matchmaker will let you know if this applies to the animal you are interested in adopting and how to navigate the special requirements with these adoptions. Thank you for your patience and support throughout the adoption process.**
