Office Foster Cat
As part of our adoption program, some of our feline friends have the opportunity to live in ASPCA team members' offices. Living in an office allows cats to have a more comfortable and domestic living space, and allows our behaviorists to learn more about each individual kitty's personality and needs. Through the office foster program, we are able to offer adopters a clearer picture of how their new feline friend will adjust to life in a permanent home.
More About Her:
Meet Minkie! This sweet kitty is a caring friend, delightful companion and awesome roommate. Minkie is an independent girl. She is comfortable lounging or exploring on her own, but she also enjoys being around people.
If you're sitting down, you may find Minkie doing figure eights around your feet, which has become a favorite activity of hers. She is affectionately called our little figure skater.
Minkie loves a good game of hide-and-seek, especially when she finds a few boxes. She likes to play and will take treats very nicely right from your hand—watch her video below to see more!
As one of our Office Foster cats, Minkie socializes with staff and volunteers on a daily basis. With a little time and patience, she warms up to new, friendly faces. She will even sit patiently by the gate of her office, doing a little people-watching.
In Minkie’s current office setting, it’s common to hear the sounds of typical office hustle and bustle, with people making phone calls and meeting with one another. This mellow kitty is not bothered one bit by the busy office environment, and will continue casually lounging or quietly watching from her gate, taking in the sights and sounds.
Minkie is a wonderful cat who would like to be the only pet in an adults-only home. Adopt Minkie today!
I'm working undercover to keep an eye on you and your household. You may not even know you're under surveillance. I can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with my investigation. If you need a cat who knows how to stay out of trouble and will always keep your secrets, I just might take your case.
