Fennel is clearly a beautiful girl, but there’s so much more to her than just her good looks. Having come to us from a home where she lived with lots of other cats, including her best friend Alfalfa, Fennel was initially nervous when she first arrived at the ASPCA Adoption Center. But, even from the very start, we could see that there was an incredibly loving, sweet side that was bound to come out if she let her guard down. Sure enough with patience, treats and time in a foster home Fennel has let that side blossom! Now, in foster, when Fennel spots a friend she can often be found trotting over. She enjoys pets, but her favorite thing is by far and large playtime! Whether she’s got her paws on a toy or is entertaining herself by running back and forth down the hall, Fennel loves to show off the fact that she knows how to have fun! She also enjoys purring, watching bird videos, snacking on squeeze snacks and spending lots of time with Alfalfa.
Fennel is looking for an adopter who understands that she will be nervous when first arriving home and will need time and confinement to adjust. She prefers a slow approach, which small kids may not understand, so she would likely do best with teens and up. Because Fennel can’t imagine life without her best friend Alfalfa they must go home together.
