Ebby

According to her foster dad, Ebby is “one of the cutest cats [he’s] ever seen”—and since Ebby has been with us for quite some time, we know he’s right! After arriving at the ASPCA in February, this sweet girl is now ready to find a new home with her BFF Artemis. Both of these kitties tend to be nervous in new places and will need time—likely several weeks or more—before they begin coming out of their shells. Ebby is the shyer of the two and once she feels comfortable, you’ll notice her curiously watching things from a distance from her safe hiding spots. Once she begins to venture out, Ebby loves to show off how much she enjoys quiet, calm toys like laser pointers, feathers and undercover mice! A delicate player, Ebby loves floor-bound toys that she can gently pounce on after doing a cute little wiggle. Catnip is also always welcomed by this lady, as is dry food that she can bat around first before chowing down on. Ebby can also sometimes be found headbutting her foster caregiver’s hands when she’d like some pets and often sleeping in bed with him.

Ebby and Artemis are bonded, so they must go home together. They would do best with an experienced cat adopter in an adults-only home who understands that Ebby might always be a little shy but will love both of these gals for who they are!
