Meet Lentil! This 5-year-old handsome boy has a face you won’t soon forget. He has soft white-and-gray tabby markings, a few warm tan patches, a tiny freckle on his nose and colorful eyes that seem to have a little bit of everything: green, yellow, brown and maybe even a hint of blue! His adorable squinty eyes can give him a slightly serious expression, but if you spend about two seconds with him, you’ll discover that Lentil is a total sweetheart.

Lentil is not shy about asking for what he wants. The second you walk in, he’s ready with a meow, a headbutt and an enthusiastic request for pets. He arches right into affection, purrs loudly, kneads while he’s getting scratches and loves to rub against his people. Once he’s decided you’re his friend, he may even settle right up against your leg while you go about your business. He’s perfectly happy to explore his surroundings, too, but he somehow always finds his way back for another headbutt and some more attention.

Then there’s his playful side! Lentil absolutely tears it up for a feather wand toy, but once the excitement is over, he’s right back to being his sweet, snuggly self. He’s also relaxed and comfortable with gentle handling and being picked up briefly. Add in his adorable white-tipped tail, and you’ve got one very charming package.
