Meet Sunscreen! This petite little lady has a beautiful pale blonde coat, big eyes that perfectly match her coloring and the sweetest little nose mohawk. She’s a gentle girl who may be a little nervous at first, but she’s made so much progress and is showing more and more of her sweet personality every day.

When you meet Sunscreen, you’ll likely find her perched up high, quietly taking in everything happening around her. She likes to keep an eye on the world while she decides what she thinks about it. She can be startled by unexpected loud noises, so a calm approach and a little patience go a long way with this sensitive girl.

Sunscreen is a big fan of lickable treats, which are an excellent way to get on her good side. She'll happily sit nearby hoping you'll produce a little more, and she has become increasingly comfortable staying close to people. She may be hesitant about touch at first, but she tolerates gentle pets and does best when you take things slowly. Rougher or more enthusiastic petting isn't really her style. She's much happier with a soft, gentle approach.

Once Sunscreen decides you're okay, she'll let you know! She's been seen headbutting her favorite people and their laptops, and she generally makes sure she stays close by. During a recent visit, she remained nearby the entire time, happily socializing with her handler and even coming over for affection.

Sunscreen has also done well with other cats. She has been co-housed alongside another kitty and has shown that she enjoys feline company. A friendly cat companion may be a possibility for her new home.

This sweet girl has come a long way, and she's ready for the next chapter. Sunscreen may not be the cat who immediately launches herself into your arms, but she's the kind of cat whose trust feels especially rewarding.
