S’more

If you’re looking for a little campfire companion, S’more is ready to claim her spot by your side! This petite, 3-year-old tortie girl is sweet, silly, playful and very pretty. She has a chocolate-and-peanut-butter tortie coat, big golden eyes and the most perfect, little orange stripe running right down her nose. Add her multicolored toe beans and her one very special “peanut butter foot,” and she’s basically a Halloween treat come to life.

S’more may take a little time to settle in. When she first arrived in her foster home, she spent a few days tucked safely in her carrier or the bathroom before deciding that the rest of the house looked worth exploring. Once she felt comfortable, though, she really blossomed. These days, she’s happiest following her people around, rubbing against their legs, flopping over for pets and curling up in a lap for a long, cozy nap.

S’more also has plenty of playful kitten energy left in her! She loves catnip mice, crinkle balls, springs, tunnels, cardboard scratchers and pretty much anything that looks like it could be fun. She’ll happily play with you, entertain herself or invite another friendly cat to join in. She even enjoys watching “cat TV” and playing games on a phone or tablet. When she needs a break from all that excitement, you can find her perched in a window, keeping an eye on the neighborhood.

S’more has lived with other cats and was very comfortable around them. She especially showed interest in getting close to and playing with her foster’s resident female cat. She can be a little particular about how affection happens — she loves pets and lap time when she chooses to come to you, but being unexpectedly picked up isn't her favorite thing. Think “I'll come to you when I'm ready” rather than “please carry me around.” She may also need some patience and treats when it comes to nail trims.

S’more is litter box trained, knows her name and has settled into a predictable routine in her foster home. She’s usually more playful and chattier during the day and turns into a cozy, quiet little snugglebug by evening.
