Allow us to introduce Jester, a cat who firmly believes silence is overrated and that every human deserves a tiny furry sidekick to narrate their day.

This handsome boy has LOTS of opinions, and he'll happily announce your arrival with enthusiastic meows before greeting you with loud purrs, happy little chirps and requests for head kisses. If you're doing something, Jester would like to be involved. Folding laundry? He's supervising. Brushing your teeth? He's already waiting at the sink for his favorite beverage: fresh faucet water, please.

When treats are involved, Jester transforms into a four-legged food critic with impeccable taste. Churu? Yes. Temptations? Absolutely. Hand-fed kibble? You have his full attention. He's wonderfully food motivated and always ready to negotiate payment for his affection.

Despite recovering from an old shoulder injury before coming into our care, Jester never got the memo that he was supposed to take it easy. His X-rays looked great, his discomfort has resolved and he doesn't let anything keep him from living his best life. Whether he's lounging beside you, exploring the house or making sure you haven't forgotten second breakfast, Jester is always ready for the next adventure.

Jester is FIV+, but that doesn't stop him from living life to the fullest! FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives with routine veterinary care, and the virus is only spread through deep bite wounds — not through sharing food bowls, litter boxes or snuggling.

Jester is an easygoing housemate who uses his litter box like a champ and quickly wins over new people with his affectionate personality. The one thing on his "absolutely not" list? Dogs. He's hoping to find a dog-free home where he can reign as the star of the show and soak up all the love (and faucet water) he deserves.
