Meet Honey! She is a petite pittie girl with the pointiest little ears, the softest face wrinkles and a coat the exact color of her name — warm, golden honey. At just 31 pounds, she’s the perfect compact size for couch cuddles, car rides and tagging along on daily adventures.

Honey is a sensitive, gentle soul who blossoms with a little time and reassurance. She loves having a crate as her cozy, safe space and settles in beautifully when she knows she’s secure. Once she feels comfortable, you’ll see her sweet personality shine. She enjoys snuggles, affection and loves attention from her favorite people!

Honey knows basic commands, and she loves toys, treats and going out for walks. She also loves water, butt scratches, kisses and all the gentle pets you’re willing to give. She absolutely adores other dogs and has participated in many of our playgroups. She’s a rough-and-tumble, happy player who would thrive in a home with a confident canine sibling to help her continue building confidence and have fun.

Honey is currently heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is fully treatable, and Honey will receive her heartworm treatment at the time of her scheduled spay. After treatment and a short recovery period, dogs go on to live normal, happy lives with no long-term complications or additional needs!
