National Pit Bull Awareness Day is just around the corner—October 28 to be exact—and we’re so excited for one of our favorite days of the year that we’re kicking off our celebrations early. This year, we wanted to give a shout-out to some amazing pittie parents who, simply by loving their pit bull, are helping to put an end to the unfair and untrue stigmas surrounding this breed!

Dave Bautista doesn’t just play a superhero in movies, he’s a real-life superhero fiercely advocating for animal welfare and dog adoption. But he doesn’t stop there! He is also the adoring pet parent of not one, but four adopted pitties.
