One of our favorite times of the year is finally here – Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! Every October, we encourage you to find the paw-fect furry friend for your family by adopting a dog. To help you make that lifelong decision, we are highlighting some of the most adorable, wonderful pups available for adoption at our locations in New York City and Columbus, Ohio! If one of these lovely dogs catches your eye, please visit their profile to learn more about adopting them.

Importantly, you won’t just be making a new best friend – you will also be joining an incredible movement we call The Rescue Effect! When one dog is adopted, it causes a ripple effect that spreads through shelters across the country, opening up more space for animals in need. Visit aspca.org/TheRescueEffect to learn more about how you can make a lifesaving impact this Adopt a Shelter Dog Month!
