Meet Whitney, a tender-hearted soul who bonds closely with her favorite people!

This relaxed mama dog came to us after raising a litter of pups with gentle care — and now it’s Whitney’s turn to be doted on! She enjoys calm strolls, rolling in the grass and sniffing her way through the world. She walks beautifully on a leash with only occasional mild pulling.

Though Whitney can be a bit shy at first, she warms up quickly — especially if you offer her some tasty treats! Once she begins to feel comfortable with you, she’ll happily stick by your side for reassurance. She may flinch or crouch due to fast movement or unfamiliar touch, but she recovers quickly and continues to build confidence every day.

Whitney is wonderfully social with other dogs and has participated in many of our doggy playgroups! She enjoys light, friendly play and romping around the yard. She’s incredibly respectful of other dogs, offering space when needed and remaining calm, even when play gets rough. She has even served as a “helper dog,” which is a dog who supports other, more fearful dogs while training and socializing.
