Sparkler

Sparkler may not be the kind of cat who bursts into a room demanding attention, but give this little guy a chance and you'll discover that some of the sweetest friendships start quietly.

This petite black gentleman has a soft warm-brown sheen to his coat and the most endearing little face. When you first meet him, Sparkler can be a bit nervous, but he’ doing his very best to be brave, taking the world in one careful sniff at a time. Don't worry, he has a secret shortcut straight to his heart: snacks. Food makes friends, and Sparkler is a firm believer in the power of a good Churu.

Once you've earned his trust, everything changes. The cautious little cat who was sizing you up from afar turns into an affectionate snugglebug who leans into pets, offers sweet headbutts and happily soaks up attention. In fact, when Sparkler was picked up and placed in a lap, he completely relaxed, melting into the affection and pressing closer for more. Even after being returned to his crate, he quickly decided he'd rather come right back out and continue collecting pets.

And then there are his meows. Sparkler has the tiniest little voice imaginable. Sometimes he opens his mouth to meow and nothing comes out at all, as if he forgot to turn the volume on. It's impossibly charming and perfectly matches his gentle personality.

While he loves people once he gets to know them, Sparkler is also a wonderful companion for other cats. He's shared toys beautifully, taking turns with feline friends and showing off his polite manners during playtime. Whether he's chasing toys, batting around his favorite electronic mouse toy or joining another cat for a game, Sparkler approaches it all with enthusiasm and kindness.
