Mykonos

Meet Mykonos, a pocket pittie with a heart as big as her smile! She was originally rescued by the NYPD and in rough shape, but with a little TLC, she’s made an incredible comeback and is more than ready to find a home of her own.

If snuggles were a sport, Mykonos would be a gold medalist This girl lives for affection — she’ll curl up in your lap, melt into your arms and has even been known to launch herself right into them for a full-body hug. She’s sweet, silly and absolutely adores her people.

Mykonos is also a bit of an adventurer! She has gone on several sleepovers with volunteers and was a total rock star. She showed us that she’s housetrained, hops into the car like a pro and loves to snuggle up right next to you all night long. She even joined a staff member recently for a run club outing and had the best time meeting new people and soaking up the excitement. When she’s not out exploring, she’s content entertaining herself with toys and relaxing by your side.

Mykonos has done well in our doggy playgroups and has gotten along with a variety of other dogs, though she appears to prefer the company of the boys. She’s also working on her leash manners and sometimes gets a little too excited when seeing other dogs out and about. Thankfully, Mykonos is eager to learn and just needs a little guidance to keep improving.
