Meet Macaroon, who is as sweet as her name suggests!

Macaroon is a loving girl who was rescued from a suspected cruelty case. Like many dogs from that situation, she is a little shy at first, but with patience (and a few tasty treats), this gentle lady quickly warms up and blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion. Once she trusts you, she’ll melt into your hands for pets — she might even flash her adorable toothy grin and full-body wiggle when she sees you!

Early on, Macaroon was fearful of new spaces, but since she has been staying in a foster home, she has made amazing progress. Thanks to a calm environment and a friendly resident dog, she has learned to explore her surroundings with growing confidence. She’s now fully housetrained, happily sleeps through the night and runs out into the yard with excitement every morning.

While she’s still getting used to car rides and new experiences, Macaroon is learning every day. She finds comfort in routine and loves mealtime — especially when it ends with her pulling all of her toys out of the bin to choose just the right one! Macaroon would thrive in a quiet, patient home with a dog friend to show her the ropes.
