Gucci

Meet Gucci, a 3-year-old, tan-and-white pittie girl who is equally silly, social and snuggly once she knows you! She loves carrying toys around like prized possessions and will happily parade them from room to room. If there are multiple toys out, she’ll take her time picking just the right one, like it’s an important decision every time.

Gucci is very people-focused and really leans into affection, and she adores scratches and belly rubs. She enjoys cuddles, treats and being included in whatever her person is doing. She knows “sit” and picks up on new things quickly, especially when snacks are involved. She’s also been described as a couch potato type who loves to settle in close and relax with her people.

Gucci recently went on a foster sleepover and did wonderfully in a home setting. After an excited first stretch, she settled right in and spent the night curled up in bed. She loved being near her person, enjoyed the comfort of a home and even showed how much she likes a cozy couch and soft place to rest. She rides well in the car and is happy to be part of the adventure, especially when it ends with snuggle time.

With other dogs, Gucci has a rough-and-tumble playstyle. She has done well in our playgroup, enjoying playful, active interactions with her canine friends!

Gucci is heartworm positive, but she has completed her treatment and is now on a short one-month activity restriction while she finishes her recovery. She has also tested positive for Babesia, a tickborne blood parasite, and has received appropriate treatment while in our care. She is otherwise healthy and continues to thrive — despite everything she’s been through, she’s feeling great and ready for her next chapter!
