Eve

Eve is a gentle, affectionate girl with a calm presence, a big heart and the most beautiful coat. She came to us from a recent suspected cruelty case and has shown just how resilient and trusting she can be. Now, she’s ready to leave the past behind and find a loving home to call her own!

Eve loves being around people and is happiest when she’s playing with her human besties. In her kennel, she’s officially the queen of the puppy eyes — one look, and your heart melts! One of her favorite things is leaning her head into you for scratches, and she soaks up pets and attention like a little sponge. She’s also been called a great office dog — she’s happy to relax during meetings and she greets everyone with her sweet, easygoing charm.

During an overnight sleepover, Eve proved just how wonderful she can be in a home environment. She was as sweet as can be, met multiple groups of people (including a couple of toddlers!) and happily soaked up all the attention she could get. She was calm and content throughout the night, had no accidents and did great riding in the car.

Eve walks nicely on leash and loves playtime, especially fetch and ball games. Smart and eager to learn, she would thrive with an adopter who enjoys training, enrichment and having lots of fun together!

Eve has met other dogs in our playgroups, though she would likely be happiest as the only child! If there’s another dog in the home, a slow, thoughtful introduction with the right match would be important. A doggy meet-and-greet is always recommended!
