Meet Erie! This young heart melter was rescued from a suspected cruelty case, and he has quickly blossomed into the sweetest, happiest little guy around!

Erie is a playful, affectionate pup with a heart full of bounce and love! His favorite thing is just being with people. He loves leaning in for pets — if you stop too soon, he’ll gently tap you with a paw to ask for more. Toys? Obsessed. Erie is all about playtime, whether it’s a game of tag, a squeaky toy or just goofing around in the yard. Erie is also a water baby who loves splashing around in a kiddie pool with his canine friends — total summertime vibes!

Social with other dogs and full of wiggles, Erie enjoys bouncy, paws-on play and is wonderfully tolerant of rougher playstyles. If he gets a little too excited, it is easy to redirect his attention. Leash walks are a work in progress for him, but he’s made great strides and builds his confidence every day.

Though Erie started off a bit shy, he's really come out of his shell and is soaking up all the love and fun life has to offer. With his silly antics, soft snuggles and endless charm, Erie is ready for a loving family who’ll help him keep growing and adventuring.
