Cheese Roll

Meet Cheese Roll! If you’re looking for a sweet, silly little companion with a soft spot for other cats, Cheese Roll might be your guy! This handsome boy is playful, gentle and wonderfully chatty, often carrying his favorite toys around in his mouth while chirping away. Springs are a particular favorite, but he’s also happy to chase a wand toy, scratch on his scratching posts or lounge in a sunny window.

When it comes to friends, Cheese Roll is a total social butterfly! He has lived with a variety of different cats and has done incredibly well with all of them. He loves to wrestle and chase, is wonderfully tolerant of playful kittens and will happily snuggle up with his feline friends when they’re willing. He even politely approaches his older cat roommate and flops down beside her simply because he wants to be near her. A confident, friendly cat in his new home could be a wonderful role model and help Cheese Roll feel right at home.

Cheese Roll can be a little nervous at first, especially in a new environment. In his foster home, he spent the first few days hiding, but his progress since then has been amazing! He can still be startled by loud noises or sudden movements and may occasionally hiss if he feels uncomfortable or is approached too quickly. He’s a very good communicator though, and when his boundaries are respected, he has never escalated to swatting or biting. He’ll need a patient adopter who is willing to let him settle in at his own pace and listen when he says he needs a little space.

Once he’s comfortable, you’ll see just how affectionate Cheese Roll can be. He warms up quickly to new people who respect his boundaries and enjoys pets and playtime with his humans. He’ll even greet his foster at the door with his tail held high, then happily flop onto his side for attention. With familiar people, he may even offer up his belly for some gentle pets!

Cheese Roll is an easygoing guy who goes with the flow. He’s perfectly content spending some quiet time at home with his feline friends. He has even been friendly and playful with cat sitters when his foster has needed to travel. He seems to appreciate both the companionship of other cats and the peacefulness of a quieter home.
