Like the flower she’s named after, Camellia started out a little shy but with time, patience and a few well-placed neck scratches, she’s truly blossomed. Now, this gentle young pup is ready to find the person who will let her love them the way she was always meant to.

Camellia adores affection and has a soft, soulful way of showing it. She’ll gently press the full weight of her head into your hand while you pet her, close her eyes and soak up every second. Cuddles are her love language, and she’s not afraid to ask for them.

She’s also a social, playful girl who’s participated in over 16 playgroups with both male and female dogs. Camellia greets new friends with loose, wiggly body language and often play-bows and barks with excitement. She enjoys both rough-and-rowdy and chase-style play and brings a lighthearted energy to every dog she meets.

Camellia has quietly worked her way into the hearts of staff members here with her tender spirit and sweet personality. She’s always excited to see her doggy friends and equally thrilled to cuddle up with her favorite people.
