Meet Cadence! This 4-year-old, 51-pound girl is a big ol’ sweetheart with the prettiest blue-and-brown coat! Cadence is happiest when she’s hanging out with her people, getting plenty of pets and snuggles and soaking up all the attention. She’s a super sweet girl who loves being part of whatever is going on around her.

Cadence is curious and playful! She enjoys sniffing around the backyard, going for walks and playing with her toys. She has great leash manners and is wonderfully comfortable in her crate — in fact, she loves it so much that she’ll happily relax in there even when the door is open!

During a short foster stay, Cadence explored the house and backyard, handled a bath like a champ and took all the new sights and sounds in stride. She has met dogs of different sizes, as well as a kitten, and she generally prefers to give them a quick sniff before going about her business. She isn’t too motivated by food, but she’s always happy to spend time with her people.

Cadence previously had BOAS surgery, a procedure that helps improve breathing in flat-faced dogs, and she has fully healed and is doing well! As a Bulldog, she’ll need an adopter who is comfortable with regular facial-fold cleaning and typical Bulldog care. She also does best with shorter activity sessions and plenty of opportunities to relax — but don’t let that fool you! Cadence still enjoys a good romp, zoom and game of chase when she’s ready to play.
