Bertie

Our girl Bertie is pretty and she’s fantastic—so we think she’s pretty fantastic! She's confident, social and wiggles for everyone she meets. She loves pets and attention—she often curls up next to her human friends for love.

Bertie is friendly when meeting other dogs, but can be overwhelmed by playgroups or rowdy dogs, so she'd probably do best in a home with another mellow dog.

When it’s playtime, Bertie goes right for her toys—she’s a toy hound! She loves to see how many toys she can fit in her mouth at once and she's so funny when she tries. You have to see it for yourself!

Bertie was in foster with another dog and with small children and she did well with both. Cats may be unfamiliar to her and we are not sure how she would do with them. She is housetrained, crate trained and just an all-around great dog. We think Bertie would make a lovely family dog!
