This dog is the belle of the ball — it’s Bella!

Bella is a gorgeous 2-year-old Shepherd/Husky-mix who loves being with her friends. She especially enjoys playing with her canine buddies in our playgroups — she’s been in nearly 200 playgroups, setting a shelter record! She would thrive with another playful dog in the home.

On a typical day, Bella loves hiking, outdoor adventures and long walks, but she also enjoys a balance of playtime and relaxation. She has great leash manners and has even enjoyed trips to the park. She’s always up for a game of fetch or jumping into the pool, and after, she’s happy to cuddle up with her people.

Bella can be shy when meeting new human friends, but with a little patience, she’ll become your loyal shadow. She’s potty trained and has been respectful of a cat in a foster home. She’s still getting used to the car and working on crate training, but her love for treats makes training fun and engaging!

Bella would benefit from a training-savvy adopter who can help her feel confident and continue with her fun training sessions — which she loves. Bella knows ‘sit,’ ‘down,’ and can hand target from across the room! When she’s feeling shy, she can be sensitive to touch, but reassurance and treats go a long way in helping her settle in. With a regular routine and lots of love, we know she’ll blossom into the perfect adventure buddy and cuddle companion!
