Charlie is a special boy looking for a special home! Charlie is blind; he is missing his left eye and has an underdeveloped right eye. However, this hasn't stopped Charlie one bit! He is very outgoing, independent, energetic and curious. Charlie likes to explore new environments and is very social with new people. He does startle easily so a loud household with small children isn't ideal.
Charlie acts like a kitten and is very inquisitive. This friendly guy also gets along well with other cats. He especially loves to play tag with his foster family's cat! Charlie enjoys playtime with any toy you give him. He can bat a ball around even though it is silent and chase it around the house as if he can see it. His ears especially perk up when he hears a crinkly toy.
Charlie loves chin scratches and being near people. Charlie does not like being picked up, most likely because this disorients him. Because Charlie is blind he will need to be a strictly indoor only cat, and will need an understanding adopter that can spend the time needed to help familiarize him to his new home.
Charlie is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting Charlie, please complete our online adoption survey.
