Shield is a clever dog who loves learning new tricks! This smart dog already knows many of his basic manners and is eager to show off his skills. Meet Shield at the ASPCA Adoption Center today.

Big fan of: Saying hello to new people! Shield is very friendly and enjoys greeting new faces. This playful pup likes to explore when he’s out for a walk. He would benefit from daily running exercise in his new home. This social dog enjoys walking with other dog friends, but he is not a dog park dog.

Special features: Shield knows “sit,” “down,” “paw,” and “stay!” This smart dog is even learning a few more tricks to add to his repertoire like “roll over” and “touch.” When he is rewarded with his favorite treat, Shield will work hard to learn new manners and tricks. With a routine walking schedule in his new home, this pup will quickly learn to only use the bathroom outside.

Dream home: An adopter with some experience and a home with kids 12-and-up would be a great fit for Shield.
