Get ready to be riveted by Rosie! Friendly, playful and all-around loveable, this lady is ready to find a home where she can work off some of that energy with a human who has just as much. If you have some time in your schedule for fetch, long trips to the park and some positive reinforcement training, Rosie may just be your gal.

Big fan of: Playtime! Rosie can be a bit shy around strangers and appreciates a slow approach, but once she understands that you bring good things—especially toys—you quickly get to see Rosie for who she is! This gal absolutely adores throwing around and chasing after squeaky toys. She especially loves tossing them up as high as she can and always trying to beat her height record! Rosie enjoys the company of humans and other dogs alike and is more than willing to incorporate them into her games, although she can get a little overwhelmed by pushy or rough-playing pups. For Rosie, the only thing that may be more fun than a game is an adventure! An active lady, Rosie adores getting out, stretching her legs and getting her paws dirty! And if you thought she couldn’t get any better—Rosie is as smart as they come and is already a master at sit! She’s always willing to work hard for a treat and would love to learn more tricks, including housetraining.

Working on: Learning that alone time is a good thing! In her previous home, Rosie wasn’t a big fan of her owner spending time away from her and showed her dissatisfaction by chewing on things that weren’t hers, using the bathroom inside, barking and whining. Rosie’s adopter should be willing and able to help her work through these issues with positive reinforcement training and plenty of exercise. Our Behavior team would love to speak with interested adopters about how to set Rosie up for success!

Dream home: Rosie is looking for an active adopter who can keep her busy with fun and lots of exercise, as well as someone who understands that she may damage some things when left along in her new home. She may enjoy having a friendly canine sibling. If you think Rosie may be the match for you, come meet her today!
