Meet Rio! This super smart pup already knows quite a few tricks, like “sit,” “stay,” and “down!” Adopt Rio today.

Big fan of: Making new friends! Rio is very sweet and loves to say “hello” to friendly faces. She also loves to be pet and scratched. Rio is playful, but she also has a mellow side—she’s up for a game of fetch or just lounging. Rio is interested in meeting some other mellow dog friends and enjoys going for walks with her dog pals.

Special features: Rio can be a bit nervous around unfamiliar things like canes or large objects. This smart dog already knows her basic manners, and is eager to please when she’s rewarded with a delicious treat. Rio prefers to use the bathroom outside, but will need some guidance as she adjusts to her new home.

Dream home: Rio is looking for an adopter with previous dog experience and a home with kids 10-and-up.
