Polo

Polo is looking for his Marco! Described as “the perfect gentleman” by one of our Behavior Specialists, Polo is truly a gentle giant. He’s been a little overwhelmed at the Adoption Center and is waiting patiently for a safe and loving home to call his own—and he’s hoping that home may be yours! 

Big fan of: Being with his people! Polo can sometimes be a little hesitant, especially at the always-busy Adoption Center, but beneath what may be a reserved exterior is a heart of gold. You can truly see how much love Polo has for his human friends in his eyes, big smile and tail wag he often greets you with! In addition to getting lots of cuddles and love, Polo also enjoys playtime, too. He loves chasing after toys or treats thrown all the way across the room and will even show off his rock-solid sit if you have one in your hand! 

Special features: Polo is a super smart guy! He’s reported to be housetrained and is always willing to listen and work hard for a yummy snack. An older gentleman, Polo has a bit of a funny walk that our veterinarians believe is due to arthritis. He needs to be on a joint supplement long-term but Polo is a fun-loving dude who doesn’t let a little arthritis slow him down one bit!

Dream home: Polo would be a great fit for most families and has previously even lived well with a small child! He’s not sure how he feels about other dogs and would prefer a human who wouldn’t be interested in taking him to the dog park. If you think Polo may be your match, come meet him today!
