Big fan of: Snuggling and playtime! This lovable pup adores cuddling. Piper is a super-friendly girl who loves every person she meets. She is very active and would benefit from plenty of exercise in her new home. Piper is happiest when she is playing with toys with her favorite people. Our Behavior team can give you some tips for swapping toys when Piper is playing so she won’t become overexcited.
Special features: This smart dog is eager to learn her basic manners, especially when treats are involved. Piper is still learning how to play with other dog friends. With guidance and supervision, Piper will quickly learn to use the bathroom only outside.
Other features: It is very important that Piper is walked using a regular harness and never with a neck collar. She has been diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis, and has received surgery which helps her breathe better. However, she is still susceptible to breathing problems. Piper’s new family must be careful with what types of food she eats and she should not go swimming. Please call our Adoption Center to learn more about Piper’s medical condition.
Dream home: Piper is looking for an adopter with some experience and a home with teens-and-up.
