Hazel

Hazel is a newbie to the ASPCA Adoption Center, so we’re still getting to know this girl inside and out. From what we’ve seen, Hazel is a sweetheart through-and-through—and that’s confirmed by her previous family who called her “loving, loyal and friendly.” She’d like an adopter who can give her lots of playtime and help her brush up on her housetraining! Does that sound like you?

Big fan of: Being outside! Hazel enjoys nothing more than getting the chance to stretch her legs, feel the sunshine on her back and sniff around to her heart’s content. From running around in big yards to walks on the sidewalk to outdoor adventures, if Hazel can get some fresh air count her in. The only thing that Hazel may enjoy just as much as the great outdoors is playtime! This pup has an incredibly playful spirit that can’t be beat and lives her life by the motto “playtime is all the time!”

Working on: Her adult skills! Hazel is a young gal and is still working on mastering all those special things that come along with being an adult—specifically housetraining. Hazel’s adopter will need to provide her with frequent potty breaks and reward her with yummy treats when she remembers to use the bathroom outside—and this girl will do anything for a snack! Hazel loves to learn and would enjoying learning other fun tricks, too.

Dream home: Hazel is looking for an adopter who can give her the training she needs to become her best self! She’s reported to enjoy the company of other dogs and has previously lived well with a cat and seven-year-old child.
