Big fan of: Friends! Gemma is a very social and active pup. She has a lot of energy and loves to explore new places, though she sometimes gets a bit nervous when outside. Gemma would enjoy trips to the dog park, and likes walking with other dog friends, but she should meet any new dog friends in a one-on-one setting first.

Special features: Gemma is still a puppy, so she sometimes gets excited when out on a walk, causing her to pull on her leash or jump up on her handler. The Behavior team recommends that her new adopters enroll her in basic training and manners classes for young dogs so that she can learn to walk politely and confidently when out, as well as keep all four paws on the ground. In her previous home, Gemma may have been housetrained and/or wee-wee pad trained, however, with guidance and supervision, she will remember to only use the bathroom outside.
