Ever find yourself in a Cali state of mind? Well this sweet girl has a smile so bright, you’d think you were on the West Coast, soaking up the rays. This adventurous, active young lady is looking for love, affection and plenty of walks with her new bestie. Though Cali is the kind of gal who enjoys staying active, she can appreciate some good snuggling and relaxation time. Cali isn’t a fan of life in our shelter, so she’s looking for someone who will take her to a home where she can show off her big, bright personality and where she can continue to blossom into the regal dog she is meant to be.

Big fan of: Playtime, walks and giving kisses! Cali loves to spend time outside, strolling around with her favorite people. She even walks politely on her leash. Cali also loves to run around, chase balls and is very playful, but settles down easily for a nap beside her human friends. Cali loves making new human friends, but since the shelter scares her, she can sometimes feel nervous in her kennel. Once she is out in the open, Cali is quick to become your new BFF. This affectionate girl loves to jump up and give kisses! She’s working on remembering to keep all four paws on the floor, but the kisses we encourage! Cali seems to like other dog friends, but needs time to warm up to them. She should meet any new dogs in a one-on-one setting first.

Special features: For such a young age, Cali sure is one smart pup. She already knows “sit,” “paw” (with both paws) and “touch.” She’d be happy to show you all her fancy tricks! In her previous home, Cali may have been housetrained, but our Behavior team can help you with guidance on how to help her remember to only use the bathroom outside.

Dream home: Cali is looking for a home with an adopter who is willing to continue to train and exercise her. She can join a household with children 10 years and older.
