One look at Bagel’s signature smirk, and you won’t be able to resist that sweet face. Bagel is an affectionate gal looking for love. Her attentive nature makes it easy to convince her to snuggle up on the couch on a Friday night, or head outside for some quality playtime.

Big fan of: Cuddling! Bagel is a big cuddle bug, always looking to give love to her favorite people and get plenty of love in return--especially when she’s getting a belly rub. She’s an active and playful young lady who loves tug toys and stuffed animals. Bagel has made many friends during her time with us —human and dogs alike!

Special features: Bagel sometimes feels nervous in new places, so she may take some time to open up when in a new environment. Because she can be easily startled by sudden noises, she’s looking for a confident pet parent or a quiet, suburban lifestyle (or both).

Foster Program Dog

As part of our adoption program, some of our canine friends have the opportunity to live in foster homes. This allows dogs to have a more comfortable living space, and allows our behavior team to learn more about each individual pup's personality and needs. Through our foster program, we are able to offer adopters a clearer picture of how their new friend will adjust to life in a permanent home.
