Aladdin wants to be your Abu! This smiley boy is just like his namesake in that he’s not afraid to take risks and go on big adventures. And to top that off, he’s also incredibly sweet and great at making people laugh. Aladdin would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a friend like him!
Big fan of: Belly rubs! Aladdin is one of those dogs who has that one spot where he just goes absolutely bonkers if you scratch it. It’s right on the left corner of his chest, and as soon as you touch it Aladdin’s leg starts going crazy! To Aladdin, the only thing that may be better than getting tickles is getting outside and going on an adventure. Aladdin is a brave boy who enjoys taking risks and exploring new places. A walk through a big park or—even better—a hike would be a dream come true for this prince! Plus, Aladdin is super smart and is already a master at “sit.” He would love to learn more tricks and is willing to work real hard for a taste of a yummy treat!
Working on: Learning to greet people and dogs appropriately. When in his kennel, Aladdin tends to have a lot to say to the people passing by—but it’s all in good spirits! The second you get him out his mouth goes right from barking to smiling. Aladdin also tends to bark at other dogs when greeting them, but after the first interaction he morphs into a social boy who enjoys lots of playtime with dogs who like to play gently. Aladdin’s adopter should be sure to initially fill his doggy social calendar with only calm, relaxed dogs until they start to understand the types of pups he prefers to play with.
Dream home: Aladdin is looking for an adopter who can take him on lots of adventures and understands that he may take some time to acclimate to his new home. Aladdin may be able to live well with another dog, and our Behavior team would love to help introduce him to any potential canine siblings. If you’re ready for Aladdin to show you his world, come meet him today!
