More About Her:

With those big, bright eyes, Shenandoah is as cute as they come. This sweet gal can be somewhat shy around new people and places, but once she warms up she is eager to show you her playful, affectionate side. Shenandoah and her best friend Kenai are described as “the life of the party,” and they live for plenty of playtime. Shenandoah will even engage in games of fetch! Both she and her buddy love watching pigeons and people while perched in windows, and when it is time for a nap, they curl up together and groom each other—it’s as adorable as it sounds!

Shenandoah is looking for a quiet home with Kenai. They would appreciate a patient adopter who will give them the time they need as they adjust to their new home. They can join a household with children 12 years and older.

Office Foster Cat

As part of our adoption program, some of our feline friends have the opportunity to live in ASPCA team members' offices. Living in an office allows cats to have a more comfortable and domestic living space, and allows our behavior team to learn more about each individual kitty's personality and needs. Through the office foster program, we are able to offer adopters a clearer picture of how their new feline friend will adjust to life in a permanent home. If you are interested in meeting one of our office foster cats, please note that the office foster cats are available to meet adopters by appointment only. For more information about meeting an office foster cat, please call our Adoptions department at (212) 876-7700 ext. 4120.
