Scallion

Who knew that scallions could be so sweet? Our lovely Scallion recently arrived at the ASPCA Adoption Center from a home with lots of other cats. Being in a new place, he was understandably pretty nervous when we first met him. But as the days have passed Scallion has started to feel more comfortable and show us who he is! If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that Scallion loves snuggling up in soft blankets like a little burrito. Stick your hand out, and Scallion immediately asks for pets! There may never have been a kitty who enjoys scratches more than this one, and his happiness is evident with his super loud purr. The only thing that may make it better for Scallion is if there are treats involved! He may be four years old, but we’ve learned that he loves human baby food.

Scallion has definitely started to come out of his shell during his stay at the shelter, but he’s still a bit of a shy dude—and that’s just a part of who he is! He’d love an adopter who’s understanding and ready to let him take things at his own pace as he settles in. Small kids may be a little too rambunctious for him, so Scallion would like to request a home with older children, please!
