It may not be the holiday season, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a Reindeer in your life! This lady originally came to the ASPCA from a very tough situation—and now, she’s finally ready to find a comfy home where she can gracefully age into her golden years! Reindeer can be quite nervous around new people, but with time she shines as bright as Rudolph’s nose. Very affectionate with her friends, Reindeer can often be found following them around—but if they’re sitting down, she’s sure to be on top of them! A lap cat through-and-through, Reindeer loves being close to the people she feels comfortable with. And, just because she’s an older gal doesn’t mean she can’t have a little fun! Mouse toys, ball toys, bell toys—Reindeer is a fan of them all! After the games are said and done, you can probably find Reindeer curled up in a cozy nook or on a soft bed for a cat nap.
As we all know, with age typically comes some unavoidable health changes. Our sweet girl Reindeer has early stage chronic kidney disease, which isn’t highly unusual for a kitty her age. She is currently not receiving any medications or treatment, and our veterinarians would be happy to discuss further with any interested adopters. When it comes to her dream home, she only has a few simple requests—someone who lives in a quiet home without young kids and understands that she will need time to adjust as she settles in. If you think Reindeer may be your gal, come meet her today!
