Reba

Reba is a sassy lady looking for a human who will let her continue to be the star of the show! A big fan of having things her way, Reba likes things just so and isn’t shy about letting you know her preferences. Reba tends to be nervous in new places and will need time to adjust to her new home, but once she feels comfortable Reba lets her true personality be seen. This kitty loves attention and prefers it on her terms—and when she wants it, it’s obvious! To ask for scratches, Reba can often be found rubbing herself up against your hands, your legs or anything else nearby—and you can bet she’ll be meowing, too! Reba is a big chatterbox who isn’t afraid to demand attention when she wants it. Sometimes a lot of petting all at once can be too much for Reba, so short doses are much preferred by this girl. While she does usually prefer pets to playtime, Reba enjoys a good game every so often, too. Wand toys seem to be her toy of choice!

Reba is looking for an adopter who understands that she will likely be nervous in her new home and need time, space, and a hands-off approach to adjust. Our Behavior team knows Reba well and has put together a great plan that her adopters can use to help her settle in successfully! Reba is a big fan of stability, routine and being the queen of the castle, so this girl would do best in a home without other cats, children, or lots of visitors.
