You don’t need an Ultra Ball to catch feelings for Mewtwo! Mewtwo has been spending much of her time with the ASPCA in a comfortable foster home, so we’ve gotten a pretty good read on who this pretty lady is. Simply put, Mewtwo is a quiet, lowkey gal. She can be rather shy around new people and in new places, so it did take her some time to settle into her foster home—and we expect the same in her adoptive home too. Mewtwo’s favorite hobby is definitely cozying up for a little R&R in her favorite spots. She loves small, comfy nooks where she can watch the world go by while feeling safe and secure. In her foster home, Mewtwo has even designated one special corner as her own! While Mewtwo is definitely a timid girl, even when she’s comfortable, she does enjoy making sure her people know she loves them. When she’s feeling social, Mewtwo journeys out from her nooks and plants herself next to you! She seems to enjoy gentle face rubs—especially when she can remain in her bed—and if she’s particularly happy Mewtwo even rolls over and purrs. And while we haven’t seen it with our own eyes, we’re pretty sure that Mewtwo is a night owl who lets her fun side shine in the off hours! According to her foster caregiver Mewtwo doesn’t seem interested in toys during the day—but when the lights come back on after being off all night, you can bet you’ll find her toys in all different spots!
Mewtwo is looking for an adopter who understands that she’s a shy, sensitive lady and is ready to love her for the beautiful, gentle soul she is. Mewtwo’s adopter should also be understand that she will be very nervous in her home and that it may take her several weeks or more to settle in. Because a lot of movement and ruckus would be too overwhelming for our wonderful Mewtwo, we think she would do best in a quiet home with teens and up.
