Luzon

Described by his foster caregiver as, “a spunky boy with lots of love to give,” everyone who has met ever Luzon loves him—and we know you will, too! Having been in a comfy foster home for a few weeks, Luzon has really shown what a wonderful kitty he is. According to his foster mom, “Luzon simply wants what every cat wants—a safe and comfortable home where he can be loved. He really opens up once he feels safe.”

Once he decides that his digs are pretty cool, Luzon has no issues showing just how much he loves being pet! Head rubs and ear scratches are his favorite form of affection, “to the point of headbutting into whatever body part is closest to him. He’ll happily flop over on his back on any surface and purr for more rubs, and he ends up looking pretty goofy and adorable!” A lot of petting all at once can be a little overwhelming for Luzon, but he’s great at using his body language to tell his people when he’d like more and when he’s had enough.

There’s only one thing Luzon may love more than pets—and that’s playtime! Luzon is super energetic, active and would chase wand toys all day, every day if given the chance. Luzon especially loves showing off how agile he is during playtime, jumping and leaping all over the place. After the toys are away, Luzon is happy to talk with his humans— and sometimes to himself—curl up next to his foster while she works, greet her immediately when she walks in the door or wakes up in the morning or zone out to calming music.

Luzon is looking for a family who has experience with cats like him and can give him lots of daily interactive playtime! Because this guy isn’t a big fan of loud noises and lots of ruckus, he’d probably do best in a calmer household with teens and up.
