Lola had been with her previous family since she was a tiny three-month-old baby. Now, as a 10-year-old golden gal, Lola’s looking for a new family who’s ready to love and dote on her! If we had to pick one phrase to describe Lola’s personality at the shelter, there’s no doubt it’s “low key.” Mature Miss Lola can often be found lounging comfortably in her bed, watching while all her human friends do their daily tasks and her younger cat counterparts bounce around with the kittenish energy this seasoned lady has long left behind. Sometimes Miss Lola may get up from her comfy spots for a yummy treat, but more often she gets up for some gentle scratches! Lola appreciates a slow approach and is slightly demanding—in a polite way, of course—when she wants you to keep going with those pets. She’s a sweet, quiet lady who would make a wonderful companion.
