Lionel

Lionel is an incredibly playful guy looking for an adopter whose spirit matches his! To Lionel, there’s absolutely nothing better than chasing a wand toy. Lionel can be a bit of a rough player, and he gets so into the games that he can often be found leaping into the air in an attempt to grab the ribbon or rolling over onto his back to paw at it from a different direction—both of which are the cutest moves ever. As he is such a fun-loving guy, Lionel needs a person who can provide him with daily plays sessions with lots of toys where he can burn off some of his energy. Lionel also loves getting attention from his people! He prefers it in short doses on his terms, but when he wants it you know. Rubbing up against your legs or hands is just one of the many tricks Lionel has up his sleeve!

Lionel would do best with an adopter who has some experience with cats like him. Because he’s a rough player, he may not be a good match for a family with small kids. Lionel has previously lived with another cat whom he sometimes got along with and sometimes didn’t, and our Matchmakers would be happy to speak with potential adopters about whether Lionel may make a good companion for their current kitty.
