Office Foster Cat
As part of our adoption program, some of our feline friends have the opportunity to live in ASPCA team members' offices. Living in an office allows cats to have a more comfortable and domestic living space, and allows our behaviorists to learn more about each individual kitty's personality and needs. Through the office foster program, we are able to offer adopters a clearer picture of how their new feline friend will adjust to life in a permanent home. If you're interested in adopting one of our office companion kitties, or for more information, please call (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120.
More About Him:
Kisses is sweet, affectionate and loves meeting new people. Kisses will stand by his gate, eagerly awaiting visitors to greet and pet him. This smart kitty will even come to you when called by name! Kisses is a total lap cat and will happily nap in your lap or curl up next to you. He enjoys cuddling, belly rubs and petting all over. However, he tends to flop his head forward and should avoid being pet there.
He is a bit wobbly when he walks and would do best in a carpeted home. Despite his unsteadiness, Kisses gets around just fine, but will need an adopter who can provide him with an environment that is easy to navigate. Kisses moves best on carpeted surfaces and stairs can be a hazard for this special kitty. Our Behavior team can speak with you further about providing a safe, enriching environment for Kisses. This sweet cat should be the only pet in his new home, and would do well with kids ages 8-and-up.
I'm a cat who does everything in a big way. I not only like to be in the middle of things-I like to lead the parade. I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll still make plenty of time to show you my affectionate side. I'm the demonstrative type, you might say. Want a cat who's brimming with confidence? That's me.
